Maui Banyan is a large condominium project in South Kihei directly across from Kam II Beach Park.  It consists of 256 individually-owned condominium units in 5 buildings with 1-, 2-, and 3-bedrooms.  It was constructed in 1990 and is available for vacation rental.  The layout is similar to that of a hotel with an interior hallway the length of each building with units off to the right and left of that.  Buildinga "A", "B", and "F" front S. Kihei Road while the others are set further back.  Buildings are not orientated in a way to provide ocean views.  There is a multi-story parking garage adjacent which is separate and not attached to the residential buildings.  It offers shaded parking (unless on the top floor) which keeps one's car a little cooler than parking out in the hot tropical sun.
